Anthurium 'Crystal Tears' (Anthurium Heinz x Black Tears)
Anthurium Heinz x Black Tears, a rare hybrid grown from seeds originally sourced from @aus.plantmum.
- Heinz (selfed) is an @aus.plantmum parent plant originally grown from @kenpossum’s F1 Heinz selfed seed. It is admired for its striking crystal primary and secondary veining.
- Black Tears ((Papillilaminum x Dressleri) x Dark Forgetii) was hybridised by @plantska and grown from seed by @aus.plantmum, featuring near-black velvety foliage, a closed sinus, and the classic P x D shape.
This cross took nine months to develop with a small yield, so it will not be repeated.
