Raven® ZZ Zamioculcas ‘Dowon’ 

Raven® ZZ Zamioculcas ‘Dowon’ (PP30,035 Propagation Prohibited) has taken the houseplant world by storm! It’s no wonder why: This naturally occurring mutation of a regular ZZ plant features striking foliage. Our Plant Hunter first acquired it in early 2015, and we have been working on propagating this slow-growing beauty ever since. Raven was found in Asia (and patented by its discoverer, who has granted us exclusive rights to propagate it in North America), but the species is native to areas of Africa. Though you might not guess by looking at it, Raven® ZZ Zamioculcas ‘Dowon’ is in the aroid family (Araceae) and related to trendy plants like monstera, pothos, and philodendron.

Note: This plant may have some natural degree of toxicity and may cause discomfort or illness if ingested. Additionally, exposure to the sap of this plant may cause discomfort to individuals with a sensitivity to it upon contact. Grown for ornamental purposes and not intended for human or animal consumption.

I got to use this for a couple of days until I made the mistake of telling my wife to TRY it and now she won't give it back. It's so comfortable. The pillow length is 4.5 feet, which is nice, but I wish it was a bit longer so I could put my whole leg on it. The 20-inch width makes up for the shorter length though, it's perfect. It gives plenty of support to take pressure off my back, knees, and hips. I've also been using the pillow horizontally under my legs occasionally. I love that the body pillow is adjustable meaning you can add or remove the shredded memory foam to how firm you want it. It comes with a pillowcase that is really nice too. Once you use this body pillow, you will never be able to sleep without it!

    BEDGEAR Does It Again!
    BEDGEAR used to make a kidney shaped pillow with a pretty firm memory foam type inside, and a gel cooled outside. It was an ABSOLUTE fave of mine for years. Since it died a number of years ago, and doesn’t appear to be made anymore, I’ve been in search of something just like it…or equally amazing in a different way…without luck. (I probably have 10 somewhat useless pillows in a closet to show for it.). So…long story short, I ended up back at BEDGEAR, and got the one that at least was the same color and of a similar construction as my old friend. And ya’ know what? It’s about as close to replicating that sleep experience as anything I’ve come across. Fairly firm, interior materials that don’t really move around, and a medium height that works well for me as a side sleeper. A very well constructed pillow too, that’ll last! Whether it’s this one (which I thought was very reasonably priced for a top quality item) or another one, BEDGEAR is a pillow manufacturer you should look into. Their products are a cut above.
