About this Collection

Your first step toward bonsai mastery! This collection includes 5 trees selected from our nursery for their suitability for shaping.

About Jonsteen's Seedlings

All of our trees are seed-grown at our nursery on California's Redwood Coast, which is inspected monthly and licensed by the California Department of Agriculture. Trees can provide a natural barrier against high winds, temperatures, noise pollution and soil erosion, all while benefiting local air quality, wildlife and property values — a Jonsteen seedling will only grow in value and beauty!

About Jonsteen's 100% Guarantee

All of our trees are guaranteed to arrive healthy and in good condition. If one of your trees perishes despite your honest efforts, we will be happy to replace it with a small-sized seedling for just the cost of shipping/handling. You can learn more about our guarantee and tree replacement policy here.

Size Charts

Seedling Size Charts

Due to the dynamic nature of actively growing trees, as well as the tremendous variation between species’ growth rates, we rely on the cubic volume of a seedling’s root mass to determine its “size” (Small / Medium / Large / XL). Within each size there is minor variance — the dimensions provided here represent the category minimum. If exact measurements are essential, please contact us about current stock.

Best on the Market
Scent: Citrus, Size: 2 Fl Oz (Pack of 1)
Been using this product for about 8 months, its all i use. As soon as I get out of the shower, I use it. Then at bed time. I use nothing else. I wish I knew about this Beef tallow sooner. I am 60, and will continue to use this. My face has never been softer. and My wrinkles are definitely not as prominent. Great product!!!! Great Price!!!!! Just but it and try it. You you know instantly. Your face will feel so soft, and moisturized . And its Not Greasy.

Great Skin Conditioner
Scent: Unscented, Size: 2 Fl Oz (Pack of 1)
I ordered the unscented, and it is truly unscented. It is solid, but by rubbing you finger around the top of the tallow, it immediately begins softening and melting. I used too much the first time, as it leaves a sticky/tacky film on the skin, so as the instructions say, a little goes a long way. Even though the next time I was careful to use very little, I do think it leaves a little tacky and greasy feeling, but it does soften and protect the skin. My only complaint is that due to the size of the jar, and if you have long fingernails, you can't just rub your finger on top of the tallow without getting it all under your fingernails. I'd like the jar to be changed to a short wide mouth vessel, hence only a 4 star rating.

Excellent ingredients and product!!
Scent: Unscented, Size: 4 Fl Oz (Pack of 1)
I rarely do reviews, but I am extremely impressed with this product and company. First it comes in beautiful packaging, the ingredients are pure, great, and so healthy! The price is good, and there isn’t any rancid smell which has been an issues with other similar products I’ve bought. I specifically bought the unscented to make sure it didn’t smell rancid, and it doesn’t. If I had one criticism it’s that there isn’t a phone number for contact just the website. I’m elderly, so I prefer to talk with someone. But, after I just experienced 2 bad experiences with similar products that I had to return, I so happy that I ordered this one. And, I’m so impressed that I’m going to order more now! 😁 Thanks 🙏 Terra Lotus for providing us with a great 👍 product!! Bambi Forester

Worked well with us!
Scent: Citrus, Size: 2 Fl Oz (Pack of 1)
I’ve been trying different products for my daughter’s eczema-prone skin. Her skin was getting really dry, irritated, and rough in certain spots, and this balm has been super moisturizing and soothing. I love that it’s made with simple, natural ingredients and doesn’t feel harsh on her sensitive skin. A little goes a long way, and we’ve noticed her skin staying softer and less irritated after using it consistently. Definitely one of the better products we’ve tried lately 💛

Bang for your buck
Scent: Unscented, Size: 2 Fl Oz (Pack of 1)
Incredible bang for your buck! Has kept my wife and I’s skin hydrated and has brought a lot of nice color and even smoothed out some dark spots. It’s fragrance free which is awesome for sensitive skin. And it’s easy to use! Make sure you keep it in a cool place cause it can melt! Fantastic product will continue to buy this
