Lightweight semi-hydro planter that integrates directly with our moss pole designs, keeping them upright as your plant grows in any direction. The planter's open mesh inner pot and slitted walls support passive watering in this innovative semi-hydro setup—water flows down, moisture wicks up.

Designed to provide the ultimate stability and root health for your climbing plant, this planter will pair perfectly with your moss pole setup. This is our semi-hydro answer to common issues with indoor gardening.

What you are getting:

  • Inner pot, with integrated moss pole attachment and water level meter
  • Outer cache pot

Top features

  • Built in M3D moss pole attachment
  • Full volume cache vessel, for any level of water content
  • Drainage mesh for flushing and chunky soil
  • Wicking options for self-watering in soil, LECA, plus wicking to moss pole through the inner pot
  • Float water level indicator
  • Rubber feet for stability

Top benefits

  • Semi-hydro gardening is awesome for root health and passive watering
  • Maximum stability, as the moss pole parts will lock directly into the inner pot
  • Perfect pair for your moss pole, mix and match colours to create aesthetic combinations.

Product specification

This design integrates our existing moss pole design into a lightweight, shelled out planter, giving the moss pole an anchor point that will remain perpendicular no matter which way your plant decides to lean. The pot floor is an open mesh, allowing all the excess water to flow freely into the cache vessel, and allowing the water from the vessel to permeate the substrate; the walls of the pot also have thin slits to speed up flow that way.

The cache vessel is designed to provide a solid base, with 6 rubber feet to improve stability and prevent slipping.

If you need further support, read our instructions, or reach out to us.

This planter kit includes:

  • Inner mesh pot, with built in anchor for XL, XXL, Demi, or D-pole
  • Outer cache pot, fully enclosing the inner pot (no light penetration)
  • Water level indication parts, to be calibrated to the users growing method

As with our other products, its modular nature allows endless use and reuse, with moss pole extensions and attachments that can be added and removed, cleaned and repurposed.

Ensure you pick your moss pole extensions to match the anchor type!

Material

All parts are made of PLA+. PLA is a 100% bio-sourced plastic: it’s made of renewable resources such as corn or sugar cane. PLA is also biodegradable and it can be composted.

Assembly

Instructions for an example assembly and pot up, for a planter with the D-pole anchor.

Add-ons & extensions

Keep growing your pole with your plant by purchasing moss pole extension kits. Additional modules can be attached without the use of any tools, with screw-on/snap-in joints. In the same fashion, the poles may be disassembled for cleaning and reuse if your plant doesn't take to its home.

As hydrated moss can get heavy our recommendation is that you use an additional brace if you extend your moss pole past 100 cm (3ft). Your plant will be very top heavy once it reaches a certain height, so consider some additional wall or hanging support to keep it from tipping.

Get the incredibly practical Slow-Drip watering cap that drops into the top of your moss pole to make keeping the moss moist a breeze!

Filling your moss pole

Better by far than a coco coir pole, our moss poles are best filled with sphagnum moss, which will hold much more moisture: this will benefit the plant and increase the humidity in it's environment to a greater degree. The moss can also be mixed with bark, perlite, or coir chips if you would like to reduce drying cycles.

Small print

Everything we make is printed to order and lovingly squeezed out by our 3D printers at our little workshop, so there may be slight variations and minor visual defects to your products. This is just a standard feature of the production method.

Great dog toys
Color: Orange & Blue
These Zeaxuie octopus dog toys are a huge hit with my pup! The crinkle and squeaky features immediately grabbed his attention, and he’s been happily chewing and playing with them ever since. I love that they’re stuffing-free, so I don’t have to worry about any mess. They’re the perfect size for small to medium breeds and seem very durable. These toys have kept my dog entertained for hours – definitely a great purchase!

My dogs loved this toy!
Color: Orange & Blue
My dogs absolutely loved these! The quality is actually good and the price for two of them is fair! Surprisingly the durability is more than I expected my aggressive chewer hasn’t completely destroyed it!

Tough toys!
Color: Orange & Blue
We have 2 deogs, a large Aussie and a small terrior. The little guy is very hard on toys. Few last a full day. We have thrown away hundreds of $ worth of toys, We have had these for a few months, and he has not managed to destoy them yet. They get played with a lot because he has very few toys. I keep trying to find toys which will survive this dog. He hjas even destroyed Kong toys which are pretty tough, but has not destroyed these. I wrote this review as I cam back to order more toys from this company, because it is great to have some which can stand up to his abuse.

Our dogs love these
Color: Orange & Blue
We have two rough collies that love to play fetch, tug, and ragdoll. We decided to add these to their play toys. Since getting them they have been ignoring their ducks and going straight for the octopus. We just got them so can’t say much about durability yet but they have been playing with them for hours and still look brand new. Love giving our dogs choices so we can ask them for certain animals to fetch. Love the non-stuffing and the crinkle.

Not for Aggressive Chewers
Color: Orange & Blue
My Dog Loves them. He immediately took the squeaker out, and dismantled some of the legs, but he still runs around trying to play tug-of-war and fetch with the dismembered body piece's 😂☺️
