The base of each leaf stalk--approximately the bottom 5 inches--is where the flavor hides in this citrusy herb. Remove the leafy top and woody bottom, strip the tough outer layers, and you'll discover the delicious white inner stalk. Chop or mince and add it to Asian-inspired curries, stir fries, and marinades. Use the discarded lemongrass bits to infuse tea, broth, or soup with citrus flavor. The flavor intensifies the longer you cook lemongrass. Use it fresh, or preserve it by drying or freezing. Lemongrass looks gorgeous growing in containers, raised beds, or in-ground gardens. Tastes a Bit Off but Works Well
With it being in a capsule you wouldn’t expect much of a taste but it definitely has one and it’s pretty unpleasant. Nothing too strong just that typical supplement aftertaste. I’d recommend taking it with food or you’ll probably get those nasty tasting burps later. No stomach issues for me though. Overall it seems like a good product and I’d still recommend it.
