Why a living memorial?
For some people, a photo on a shelf feels too still. A planter changes. Leaves grow, new shoots come in, sometimes it flowers. It's a different way of staying connected to a dog who was always changing too: bigger, slower, grayer, more themselves every year. The planter becomes a kind of ongoing presence instead of a single frozen moment.
Plant care
The plants we ship are chosen for being almost impossible to kill. Bright indirect light, water every 1 to 2 weeks. The full care card comes with each planter.
Shipping and timing
Production: 3 to 5 business days. U.S. shipping: 3 to 5 business days. Plants are packaged carefully and ship live. If anything arrives damaged, email us and we'll replace it.
Frequently asked questions
What kind of plant comes with it?
Usually a hardy succulent. We choose based on what's in season and what ships best. If you have a preference, mention it in the order notes and we'll do our best.
Can I send this as a sympathy gift?
Yes. Many customers send the planter as a pet sympathy gift. We can ship directly to the recipient with a handwritten note. There's no visible price on the packaging.
How long does the plant live?
With basic care (bright indirect light and occasional watering) most succulents we ship live for years. If yours doesn't make it, we can send you a replacement plant.
Can I personalize it with my dog's dates?
Yes. Just add the dates in the personalization field at checkout, or email them to us after.
Is this made in the USA?
Yes. Like all our memorials, it's handmade in our family workshop in the United States.
