All of our terracotta pot water features have been crafted on the island of Crete using the finest local clay, employing age-old techniques and styles that have remained unaltered for almost 4000 years.

Each pot is meticulously shaped on a potter's wheel, followed by kiln firing and a 24-hour 'quenching' process with water. These well-established practices grant the pots exceptional durability, making them frost-resistant down to -20°C and heat-resistant up to 50°C. A finishing touch involves a clear silicone spray, creating a water-repellent barrier to prevent moisture from infiltrating and damaging the pot.

For your convenience, the entire range comes pre-assembled with high quality materials. The price covers the reservoir, pump, pipe, and connectors – simply add cobbles to adorn the reservoir, and let the water flow gracefully.

You have the option to position the reservoir either above the ground and construct an enclosure to conceal it (enclosure not provided), or you can embed the reservoir into the ground for a seamless appearance. The upper part of the reservoirs are equipped with a robust metal grid, designed to support the pot. You can subsequently overlay the grid by placing decorative stones or slates around the pot (materials not provided).

The pumps operate using mains power and come with a standard 10-metre cable.

Please note: the 50 year frost proof guarantee warranty does not cover water features.

Due to their handmade nature, all measurements are approximate and may vary slightly.

Winter Care:

• Freezing water will expand and can cause serious damage to the pot, so it must be fully drained before winter.
• The pot should be covered to prevent rain or snow from entering the pot and freezing; any insulated and waterproof sheet would be suitable.
• If the pot is being used as a water feature, it should be lifted off the reservoir.
