Although controlling woody weeds is difficult, it's not impossible, The persistent nature of woody weeds results in various herbicide applications to achieve total control. GWS recommends an integrated weed management approach to gain long term control for tenacious weed infestations. 

Access provides selective control of a wide range of woody and noxious weeds in commercial and industrial areas, public lands, fence lines and pastures, by basal bark and cut stump applications.
