Plants are shipped on a polystyrene totem, as bark or wooden totems cannot be sent to all states. We recommend keeping the plant on the totem to prevent damage. However, if you wish to remove it, carefully break apart the polystyrene rather than pulling the plant off, as the stems and roots are delicate and may break easily.
