Product Description:
Veri-Green Starter Fertilizer for Seeding and Sodding has been specifically designed to grow quicker and thicker grass roots.
Healthy grass roots are essential for surviving the harsh summer and winter weather conditions. Give your new lawn the best chance of survival and a quick and successful germination. This particular fert is rich in phosphorus, a key component in the development of root formation for new grass seedlings. It also contains humates that enhance the efficiency, availability, and exchange of plant nutrients to and from the soil.
*Size options and coverage:
- 5 lb bag = covers up to 1,500 sq ft
- 15 lb bag = covers up to 5,000 sq ft
- 45 lb bag = covers up to 15,000 sq ft
Application Information:
For best results, this starter fertilizer should be applied just after seeding a new lawn or installing sod rolls.
Apply Veri-Green when seeding or sodding on a dry lawn. For best results, thoroughly irrigate the treated area. Once watered, wait a day to mow the lawn to give the product time to activate.
This product is safe to apply when you are seeding and/or sodding, in the garden, and on the following grasses:
- Cool-Season Lawns - Kentucky Bluegrass, Turf Type Tall Fescue (all fescues), Ryegrass.
- Warm-Season Lawns - Bermuda, St Augustine, Zoysia, Centipede, Bahia

| Application details |
Apply at 3 lbs per 1,000 square feet of lawn area. Apply the same day as seeding or sodding. Spread this product a day or two after mowing and when the lawn is dry. |
| Water-In instructions |
Thoroughly irrigate the treated area after application for best results. About 1 ½ inches of water per week is sufficient between rainfall and irrigation, but not to the point of run-off. Once watered, wait a day to mow the lawn allowing the product time to activate.
