The Tricolour name coming from the 3 tones of green splashed across the foliage. Aglaonema pictum tricolor just gets more and more impressive over time and eventually grow into a multi-stemmed clump that will be at home on any tabletop or shelf and is best viewed from above
Light Requirements: Bright Indirect Light is ideal, though very tolerant of lower light levels.
Moisture & Soil Requirements: Prefers to be kept a little drier through winter and can even survive going dry, water deeply and infrequently whilst draining soil of excess moisture thoroughly in summer.
Growth & Nutrients: Grows in clumps, losing older leaves and exposing upright canes. Suits apartments or homes of any size. Feed with a general-purpose fertiliser for containers from the start of spring each year to autumn when growth slows down.
Temperature, Humidity & Ambient requirements: Prefers warm humid environments inside but can deal with most home environments. Ideal plant for kitchens & bathrooms indoors.
Toxicity: Moderately toxic. Don't let anyone or anything eat it.
