Aurora Pepper is a compact ornamental variety prized for its dazzling color display and fiery heat. These small, upright peppers transition through a rainbow of shades—from green to lavender, deep purple, orange, and finally red—often showing multiple colors on the same plant at once. We think they look just like tiny, glowing Christmas lights—cheerful, festive, and full of charm!

Beyond its visual appeal, the Aurora Pepper delivers a significant punch, registering between 30,000 to 50,000 Scoville Heat Units, comparable to a cayenne pepper. While primarily grown for ornamental purposes, the peppers are edible and possess a neutral, peppery flavor, making them suitable for adding heat to salsas or for drying into chili flakes.

Ideal for container gardening, borders, or as a colorful accent in garden beds, the Aurora Pepper plant reaches a modest height of 12 to 15 inches. Its compact size and dazzling color transitions make it a favorite among gardeners seeking both beauty and spice.  Aurora matures approximately 75 days after transplant.  Each packet contains a minimum of 25 seeds.
