Eco-friendly fiber cement planters are composed of cement and jute fiber that replaces the stone aggregate that is traditionally used in cast stone. This creates a strong and durable planter that weighs 25% less than traditional cast stone.

Manoir Rectangle Planter - Zinc Coated Steel Features:

  • Constructed out of durable Zinc-coated Steel***
  • Drainage is provided by gaps in the 4 corners between the zinc plate and the bottom of the planter
  • Hand-crafted in Europe, planters are fire galvanized by dipping them into a hot zinc bath to protect the steel from rust
  • Suitable for Indoor/Outdoor Use

***The zinc coating process begins by taking the cleaned steel planter and dipping it into a bath zinc coating. This process is known as hot-dip galvanizing. The purpose of the coating is to prevent steel or iron from rusting in addition to the design detail.

For the price, I was hoping for better quality and durability. They might work for occasional use, but they didn’t meet my expectations for everyday sleep.
