Anthurium HUxRC is a compact hybrid bred from parent plants from the renowned Indonesian breeder Haji Ulih (HU), likely a cross between the popular HU (“King of Spades”) and Indonesian Red Crystallinum (RC). It features heart‑shaped foliage with strongly impressed white or pinkish veins on a deep green background. Its growth habit is naturally low and rosette‑forming, pushing multiple leaves simultaneously from a central crown.

Native to:
As a man‑made hybrid, HUxRC doesn't occur naturally, but its parentage combines traits from tropical Anthurium species native to the Americas—HU brings dark, velvet leaves from certain “King of Spades” cultivars, while RC contributes strong white‑veined red foliage from Anthurium crystallinum subtypes. Emerging leaves often show a red‑bronze flush, maturing to deep green with vivid venation.

Water:
Keep the compost evenly moist. Water when the top 1/3 of the pot dries, ensuring excess drains freely. Avoid waterlogging to prevent root rot, a common issue with Anthurium hybrids.

Light:
Provide bright, filtered light—ideal by an east‑ or north‑east‑facing window. Too much direct sun can scorch the leaves, while low light can reduce vein contrast and slow growth.

Humidity:
Requires high humidity (65–80 %). Average UK indoor humidity (≈50 %) is low. Boost it with pebble trays, regular misting, or a humidifier. Brown edges signal dryness.

Temperature:
Thrives between 18–26 °C, with minimum winter temperature of 16 °C. Avoid exposing it to temperatures below 15 °C or near draughts from windows or heating vents

My kitten loves this ball
I originally got this for my 14-year-old dog because he has always loved balls, and I thought it might be a fun way to provide a little extra stimulation and entertainment. Unfortunately, he didn’t show much interest in it. However, I honestly think that may have had more to do with his age than the toy itself. The surprise was my kitten. She absolutely loved it and spent quite a bit of time chasing, batting, and interacting with it. Once she figured out that touching it would make it move, it really seemed to hold her attention. I mainly used the passive mode, where the toy only moves after being touched. I liked this setting because it felt less overwhelming and encouraged interaction without constantly running around on its own. Based on my experience, I think this toy is best suited for younger, curious pets that enjoy investigating moving objects. While it wasn’t a hit with my senior dog, it was definitely a success with my kitten. Overall, it seems well made, easy to use, and a fun option for playful pets.

The Only Thing He Hasn't TOTALLY Destroyed
Size: Large, Color: Ball-Blue
I've spent my hard earned money on SOOOO many "indestructible " toys. This one is actually pretty good. It has a duck sound inside for when the pet rolls the ball to get the treats. I didn't use it for the treats. I gave this toy 4-stars because my dog broke the sound box while chewing it. We pulled the pieces out and he LOVES it. Great for play, and comfort. Sometimes, he sleeps with it. I guess you could say it's his favorite 😍.

One of the best toys that was ever made! My wife likes to put little treats in there and I'll bat the ball around. The room gives their hours of entertainment. She puts little things like hands of corn i
