Why mess with success? Incredibly popular Cascade Hop (Humulus lupulus 'Cascade') is a craft brewmaster's delight.

Both bold and well-balanced, the Cascade Hop variety was first developed and introduced by the USDA breeding program and Oregon State University. The goal was to boost North American beer production and give an American hops alternative for the brewing industry.

Named after the beautiful Northwest mountain range that nurtured it when it was first developed in the 1950's, Cascade Hop has grown to become the favored hop of craft breweries all across America. Cascade gives beers, ales and lagers a distinctly "American" taste, completely unlike European versions.

These days, people across the country are growing these gorgeous bines to turn profits and run small-scale brewing.

Cascade features a spicy flavor with floral hints. Typically used in Pale Ale and IPA recipes, Cascade Hops can also be added to Blonde Ale, Hefeweizen and even Porter.

Full-bodied, unique floral flavor with moderate bitterness is the hallmark of Cascade. Some even swear that it features a welcome note of fresh grapefruit.

Aroma-type Cascade Hops are usually added to the last 15 minutes of the boil to impart a flavorful finish. But this special variety can also pull double duty on the bittering side of the process.

Cascade Hop is a perennial bine that produces a large harvest of dark green, compact cones and comes back year after year. Read on to learn #ProPlantTips for maximizing your harvest of these alpha acid-rich hops.

Growing Hops takes a bit of dedication, but there is nothing more satisfying than a class of truly homemade ale. Who knows? Your craft brewed hobby may just grow into a legacy for your family.

Order our expertly grown Cascade Hops today! It grows well across much of the United States, and imparts tremendous flavor and aroma.

How to Use Cascade Hop in the Landscape

These long bines need room to develop. Allow plenty of sunlight and good air circulation around each row.

Support your Hop plants on a trellis, or use a series of tall poles in concrete. Add sturdy twine on a yearly basis from the top of your pole to a stake at ground level.

Let these pretty bines serve double duty as a fast-growing privacy screen. Hops make a very appropriate garden wall for an outdoor dining room, wouldn't they?

Have a little fun with your layout. No one says the rows must be perfectly straight, after all.

Why not place your Hops in a serpentine path, or curve them around your outdoor grill for shade in the summer? You can even use a single pole with multiple strands of twine at the top to create a fun Tipi for the kids to enjoy.

#ProPlantTips for Care

Give Hops full sun and sharply drained soil. Elevate the planting with additional sandy loam if you need to improve drainage.

Provide a moderate amount of water on a regular schedule. Mulch your Hops to keep the soil cool.

As the plant grows, train it several times to your twine. Encircle the bine clockwise around its support regularly as a young plant.

After Hops reaches a good size, some like to remove the leaves from the lower few feet to avoid mildew. Protective early treatments can also be done, always following label instructions.

Harvest once the sticky cones spring back to gentle squeeze. Cascade Hops ripen in the midseason; call your local Ag Extension office to find out what month Hops ripen in your area.

Enjoy the fruits of your labor. Order Cascade Hops...you know the end result will be smooth and very satisfying.

I ordered a wide in this shoe, but it was still way too narrow. I had to return them. Otherwise, it looked like a nice quality shoe.

I usually wear 11.5's, but I buy 1/2 size smaller to accommodate for stretch. Leather relaxes.

5 STARS: These shoes are awesome. I keep coming back for more. I have major foot problems, have tried all kinds of shoes, orthotics, and inserts... but believe it or not, these shoes work better than any of that stuff. I wear them daily. I buy lots of them, for home, for church, and I'm getting my first pair of J&M boots today, for winters in Indiana... Brrrr

Good Quality
Size: 11, Color: White
Nice looking shoe. Slides on easy. My only feedback would be I wish the toe box was a bit wider and the heel a bit higher. It's a good shoe overall. I would buy again.
