This blend contains my favorite varieties that I grow year after year. The blend contains both loose leaf and head type lettuces. Red and green varieties are included which makes for a pretty bowl of salad!
Lettuce are great for cool season gardens. Fall planted greens can be extended with a floating row cloth or other suitable cover. Lettuce can take light frost here in our Zone 6 garden. I sow seeds fairly close together and thin after germination. As soon as plants have small leaves I begin harvesting the outer leaves. I sow a large patch and harvest a little from many plants. Successive sow three weeks apart for a continual harvest.
All seeds come packaged in a kraft paper envelope. Detailed growing instructions included with each seed packet.

Perfect, Safe Hose for My Rain Barrel Setup

This Camco TastePURE 4-foot water hose has been perfect for my rain barrel setup. The length is exactly what I needed for a clean, simple connection without excess hose to deal with.
I really appreciate that it’s drinking-water safe with no lead, BPA, or phthalates. Even though I’m using it with a rain barrel, it’s reassuring to know it’s made from safe materials. The reinforced design feels sturdy and durable, not flimsy like cheaper hoses.
The 1/2” inside diameter provides solid water flow, and it’s made in the USA, which is a nice bonus. Great quality, reliable, and exactly what I was looking for. Easy 5 stars.

Wow, It’s 2026, I purchased in 2022!
