Mammillaria decipiens ssp. camptotricha 'Bird's Nest Cactus' Highlights:
- Mammillaria 'Bird's Nest Cactus' is a green cactus with cylindrical tubercles that grow long white and brown spines that can grow over 1" long. This Mammillaria grows in a clumping fashion.
- Produces small yellow flowers.
- Easily propagated from offsets.
- Hardy to Zone 10 (30°-35° F). Mammillaria will not survive a hard frost. However, cactus can easily be grown indoors under grow lights or in a sunny window if there is a risk of temperatures dropping below 35° F. If there is only a risk of freezing temperatures for a few days, most succulents do just fine outside if they are covered by frost cloth or a sheet until temperatures increase (I'm talking to you, Zone 9 friends).
Mammillaria Care: As with all cactus, it is best to follow a "soak and dry" schedule where you water your plants deeply (until water runs out the bottom drain holes), and then allow your soil to dry completely before watering again. Cactus should always be planted in well-draining cactus and succulent soil and in a pot or container that has drain holes.

Say hi to Daisy- a13 week year old pit. She absolutely loves the toys! She was using another chew toy and DESTROYED it so I needed a quick replacement. They’re very durable; however, she chipped one of the bones so I don’t anticipate it having TOO long of a life. For the price, it’s great and I recommend for any chewers you might have.

Love them
