Aptenia cordifolia, commonly known as heartleaf ice plant or baby sun rose, is a low-growing, succulent ground cover plant native to South Africa. It is characterized by its trailing stems, small heart-shaped leaves, and vibrant, daisy-like flowers. The leaves are fleshy and glossy green, while the flowers can range in colour from shades of pink to purple. Aptenia cordifolia is a resilient and drought-tolerant plant that thrives in full sun and well-drained soil. It is commonly used as a ground cover in gardens, rockeries, and containers, providing a splash of color and spreading to create a dense mat of foliage. Electrically good. Fitment not so good.
This starter worked fine when installed. The only reason I didn't give it a 5 star rating was fitment. the hole in the bell housing is slightly larger than the starter. The old starter, OEM, was a right fit. This puts all of the strain and torque of starting the engine on the two bolts that hold the starter in. I expect this to fail at some, hopefully, distant point in the car's future. In order to retorque the starter bolts, the battery and airbox have to be removed.
