Dichondra is now used in many ground cover situations where normal grasses may not do as well. It grows very close to the ground, (usually not over 2 inches tall) with a creeping growth habit. It has a bright green color, establishes a thick dense carpet look, and a very good soft feel underfoot. When used in lawn situations it can be mowed for an even, smooth finish but should not need it.
It will cascade about 3 feet from your baskets, window boxes, or other containers, but it will also form a nicely domed shape that fills any available space, or crack beautifully!
And to top it all off, it is a popular ingredient in Traditional Chinese Medicine blends. Diuretic, febrifuge and styptic. The whole plant is used for treating diarrhea.
It is a fast growing perennial in warmer climates and a annual in frost heavy zones. It is also highly resistant to diseases and will grow in partial shade to full sun. The seed we offer is coated with a clay coating to make the seed easier to spread as well as help the seed retain water which aids in germination. The first leaves after germination will be long and narrow and will not look like dichondra in the beginning. Sow much like normal grass seed. USDA Zones: 8 - 11

Basic everyday napkins but very thin
These are about as basic as paper napkins get. They work fine for everyday meals and quick cleanup, but they are definitely on the thinner side.
You usually end up needing more than one for messier foods or larger spills because they don’t feel especially absorbent or heavy-duty.
That said, the large count is convenient for everyday household use, cookouts, lunch packing, or casual gatherings where you go through napkins quickly.
Overall they’re functional budget napkins, just nothing particularly thick or special.

Bake and Take - Excellent for Large (or small) Gatherings!

I ordered these 9 x 13 foil pans specifically for a trek to Mom's on Mother's Day. I chose them because they included the covers, are disposable, reusable and the best way to transport a warm meal to a family gathering. I have 8 siblings. I made pans of enchiladas for each family unit. Particularly in this current health situation - even among family members, the separate portions minimizes contact with others' food.
Each pan was perfect for 18 chicken/cheese enchiladas. I made 10 pans for the entire family. I also ordered smaller pans (8.4 x 5.9) from this seller so each sibling could take some enchiladas home. The lids sealed perfectly; the pans were sturdy. I also used the small pans to make croissant crème brûlée custard - each person enjoyed their own portion of dessert – they all ate right from the pan – how convenient is that?
I could not be happier with this amazingly convenient way to 'bake and take' - and NO WASHING PANS! I rolled into the gathering like a caterer - my family was really impressed. I intend to bake and take - AND bake and stay (again, NO WASHING PANS!)
I made a large salad to consume during the week. I made it in the large pan and popped it in the fridge, easy peasy. I plan to use these pans for bar-b-ques. They’re great for marinating before grilling, taking the meat off the grill and placing into the pans AND, they are the ‘serving platters’.
I highly recommend these pans (and the seller – I received them wicked fast!)
