Prevents 27 different grassy and broadleaf weeds, including chickweed, goose grass, sandbur, purslane, and thistle. Best applied early in the growing season or after weeding, as it prevents weeds but does not kill established weeds. 3.25 lb. bag. 

When should it be used? Apply as early as possible in the growing season for season-long weed control. 
Where should it be used? Use in flowerbeds, vegetable gardens, around ornamental trees, shrubs, and flowers listed on the label.
What weeds are controlled? Chickweed, goose grass, sandbur, purslane, thistle, annual bluegrass, barnyardgrass, Johnsongrass, and many others listed on the label. 
How is it applied? Sprinkle like salt on soil surface at the rate of 1 oz. per 10 sq. ft.
What is the active ingredient? Trifluralin: alpha, alpha, alpha-trifluoro-2, 6-dinitro-N, N-dipropyl-p-toluidine.
