Philodendron Neon is the brightest and most vivid plant in the Philodendron family. Its heart-shaped leaves are an intense, almost electric chartreuse-green that glows in natural light and brings instant energy to any room. It trails and climbs readily, growing quickly along shelves and hanging planters, and has all the legendary toughness and adaptability of the classic heartleaf Philodendron with a color that is impossible to overlook.
Good for beginners? Absolutely. Philodendron Neon is one of the easiest houseplants you can own. It tolerates low light, inconsistent watering, and most home conditions without complaint.
Safe for cats and dogs? Philodendrons are toxic to pets if ingested. Keep out of reach of cats and dogs, or explore our pet-safe plant collection.
Light needs: Bright indirect light produces the most vivid chartreuse color and the fastest growth. It tolerates low to medium light well but the neon intensity fades in dimmer conditions. Brighter light equals brighter leaves.
Care at a glance: Water when the top inch of soil is dry. Feed monthly in spring and summer. Trim trailing vines to keep growth full and bushy. Provide a trellis or moss pole if you want it to climb.
Ships fresh from one of our two greenhouse locations in a nursery pot. Covered by our 30-Day Plant Guarantee. Free shipping on orders $149+.
