The rose is harder to grow from seeds compared with normal flower seeds.
Here we will teach you how to grow rose from seeds. The detail is below:
- Put rose seeds into freezer for 100 days first.
- Prepare the soil. We generally use loose, breathable and moist soil, so it can be mixed by vermiculite, peat, water moss, perlite, wood shavings of tree fern and something else. Anyway, please make sure that there won’t be any other foreign bodies including pebble, broken brick, glass, etc.
- Soaking seeds. Put the rose seeds into 40 Celsius water for about 4-6 days. In order to keep room temperature, you can put water onto your host machine.
- After 4-6 days, pick up seeds and put seeds into the soil. The temperature should be between 20 and 35 Celsius. At first you need put one layer thin film onto ground, then put 4-6cm thickness soil onto film, put seeds onto soil, then cover seeds with 2cm thickness soil again, the top layer should be covered with another layer thin film. Please keep it wet always. Usually it will take about 30 days to sprout.
