All monsters use worsted- and/or sport-weight yarn and a size G-6 (4mm) hook, and patterns are appropriate for beginning through advanced crocheters. Lapp has helpfully provided a glossary with detailed instructions on stitches that might be unfamiliar, and she's included photos to keep makers on track.
