Itsy Bitsy Peach Miniature Rose (Rosa x 'Meikapette')

Itsy Bitsy Peach Miniature Rose packs real rose performance into a small footprint, making it easy to add long-season color where space is limited. It blooms abundantly from spring through fall, with warm tones that shift between deep yellow and orange with a soft blush of pink. The compact, mounded habit stays neat, so it looks finished in containers and along the front edge of sunny beds. If you want bright color, manageable size, and simple upkeep, this miniature rose fits the plan.

Distinctive Features

This miniature rose forms a dense, low mound and covers itself with clusters of small, showy blooms over a long season. Flowers open in deep yellow and orange tones and often show light pink blush, creating a lively, sunset-like mix on a single plant. Foliage is clean-looking and the plant is known for strong resistance to common issues like mildew and rust when grown in sun with good airflow. Mature size is typically about 18 inches tall and about 24 inches wide.

Growing Conditions

  • Sun: Full sun delivers the best flowering and the strongest, densest growth.
  • Soil: Plant in fertile, well-drained soil, and amend with compost to improve performance in average beds.
  • Water: Water when the top 2 inches of soil are dry, then soak thoroughly to encourage deep roots.
  • USDA Zones: Zones 5 to 9.
  • Mature Size: Reaches about 18 inches tall and about 24 inches wide in a compact, mounded habit.

Ideal Uses

  • Focal Point: Use as a focal point in a patio pot or front bed where the warm yellow-orange blooms can brighten the space for months.
  • Containers: Perfect for pots on patios, decks, and balconies where compact size matters.
  • Front Borders: Keeps the front edge of beds crisp with steady bloom and a tidy mound.
  • Mass Planting: Plant in groups for a low ribbon of warm color that reads well from a distance.
  • Walkways and Entries: Adds cheerful color near high-traffic areas without blocking views or paths.

Low Maintenance Care

  • Pruning: Cut back in late winter to early spring to shape the mound and encourage fresh, flowering growth.
  • Deadheading: Remove spent blooms to keep the plant tidy and promote quicker repeat flowering.
  • Feeding: Fertilize in spring and again after the first bloom flush to support continuous flowering.
  • Watering: Water at the base to keep foliage drier and reduce disease pressure.
  • Mulching: Mulch to conserve moisture, suppress weeds, and moderate soil temperature around the roots.

Why Choose Itsy Bitsy Peach Miniature Rose?

  • Warm Color Mix: Deep yellow and orange blooms with a light pink blush create a lively, glowing display.
  • Compact Size: Small, mounded growth fits containers and tight garden spaces with ease.
  • Long Bloom Season: Flowers from spring through fall for consistent, reliable color.
  • Disease Resistance: Strong resistance to mildew and rust supports a cleaner look with less intervention.
  • Easy to Place: Works in borders, pots, and small beds without overwhelming surrounding plants.

If you want a miniature rose that blooms hard, stays compact, and brings warm color to sunny spaces, Itsy Bitsy Peach Miniature Rose is an excellent choice. Give it full sun, consistent watering while it establishes, and a simple seasonal routine, and it will keep your containers and borders looking bright for months.

Easily Ripped apart within minutes
Color: Blue Puppy, Size: Medium Size 2, Color: Blue Puppy, Size: Medium Size 2
I have a new foster who’s only 35 pounds not an aggressive chewer and loves to play with my dogs rooster soccer ball toy but the ball itself is a little big for her to get her teeny little mouth around when she’s trying to carry and run with it this happened to pop up on my feed a size smaller (medium, instead of large ) and available for next day delivery, so I bought it specifically for the little dog to play with. I gave it to her to play outside while my hound is busy playing with one of her toys I went about watering the garden, when I turned around a few minutes later, I saw the ball appeared to be completely flattened. As I walked over, I saw pieces of black rubber on the ground, and then the rest of the ball had a gaping hole in it. The rooster version of the ball that I bought from another seller has been going strong for months with multiple dogs playing with it and chewing on it and ripping the side ribbons apart so either I got a defective toy or the quality of manufacturer from this seller is much lower since the durability of the ball seems to be less than an hour.

Not very durable
Color: Blue Puppy, Size: Medium Size 2
This ball is cute and my dog loves tags. However he popped this ball with one bite to carry it…. Within 10 minutes of getting it. It should have a tougher exterior

Your fur kid will thank you!
Color: Yellow Green, Size: 6 Inch
My dog absolutely LOVES this toy! I recently adopted a rescue & wasn’t sure what she might like, so I bought this in a 6” size for a 50# shep/lab/hound. The ball comes with a cute little pump with needle which only takes a few seconds to inflate. I put the ball outside for her; she wasn’t sure of it at first but it didn’t take her long to realize how fun it was to throw around & chase. She throws it up in the air by the loops & runs all over the yard with it & it’s so comical to watch! It seems pretty durable & well made - I’m shocked she hasn’t punctured it by now, but if she does I will definitely buy her another….and another. This is easily her favorite toy. I highly recommend it for your fur kid - you won’t be disappointed, & neither will they..

First ball was great!
Color: Black Green, Size: 8 Inch
This ball was great! My dog loves it. I ordered another smaller one. It had no pump and the inside was separated from the outside piece so it couldn’t be pumped up.
