Madagascar Palm is not actually a palm at all but a succulent! Native to Madagascar, this striking plant has a tall, spiny trunk that resembles a cactus, topped with long, narrow, silver-gray leaves that give it a palm-like appearance. One of the coolest features of Pachypodium geayi is its ability to store water in its thick trunk, helping it survive the dry, harsh conditions of its native habitat. Over time, it can grow up to 20 feet or more in height, making it a true showpiece in any garden or greenhouse.
