Looking for a diverse flower? This one's got you covered! With over 700 types, it thrives in warm and mild weather. You'll find both yearly and perennial options.
For the best growth, these Salvia plants love the sun. They're cool with regular or better quality soil, as long as it drains well. Use some all-purpose fertilizer when planting and then once a month afterward.
Once these plants settle in, they usually grow without much hassle. Keep the soil somewhat dry and moist. Water them once or twice a week when it's dry. Clear out the weeds or toss on 2-3 inches of mulch for a neat look.
These Salvia plants often scatter seeds heavily. Plant them where you want them to grow back each year, and they'll likely return on their own.
