A fresh eucalyptus shower bundle is the plant people hang near the shower head for a clean, spa-like aroma. Warm shower steam helps release the natural aromatic compounds in the eucalyptus leaves, so your bathroom smells fresh without synthetic fragrance.
What is the plant people put in the shower?
The plant is usually eucalyptus. Self-Care Shower bundles are made with fresh eucalyptus stems picked to order, tied for easy hanging, and shipped to your door for use in the shower or around the home.
How does shower eucalyptus work?
When warm steam reaches the leaves, it helps release the eucalyptus aroma. For a stronger scent, gently roll or squeeze the leaves over a towel before hanging the bundle. Keep the bundle close enough to the steam to warm up, but out of the direct water stream so it lasts longer.
How to hang eucalyptus in the shower
- Remove the bundle from the box and take off any hydration wrap around the stems.
- Soak the stems briefly in cool water and trim any dry ends.
- Gently roll the leaves if you want to release more aroma right away.
- Tie the bundle near the shower head, on a hook, or high on the shower wall.
- Place it where steam can reach it, but away from direct water flow.
How long does eucalyptus last in the shower?
Most fresh eucalyptus shower bundles last about 2-3 weeks in the shower, depending on humidity, water exposure, and how often the leaves are handled. The leaves may continue to look beautiful as they dry, but the fresh scent naturally fades over time.
