Red Pineapple

A beautiful looking pineapple and more cold hardy than others. As the fruit develops it is brilliant red and each segment of the young fruit produces a vivid purple flower.

The flesh is sweet and juicy, pink-yellow in colour. The fruits weigh about one kilo each. Size - Up to a metre tall. Pollination - Fruits are formed without pollination.

The redness of the fruit gradually fades as it matures. It is not edible until every trace of red has gone and the skin is pale yellow. But, like any pineapple, you can smell the powerful sweet aroma when it’s ready to cut.

The red pineapples are a very hardy variety. Fruit consists of whole cluster of fruitlets from the many flowers. As the fruitlets mature they fuse to form a single pineapple with a fibrous stem running through the middle. The skin is tough and waxy, red in colour.

Used for my dog.
These balls are great for playing fetch and at a decent price. I have a small dog (15 lbs) and she doesn't tear them up quickly. Unfortunately when we go to the dog park her much bigger friends steal them and destroy them. So buying them in bulk makes it easier to make sure we always have a ball to throw.

Balls
Color: Red
Bought them for the dog. They’re balls. She loves them. Red makes them easier to find because dog won’t return them. She seems to like the red balls better than the traditional yellow.

Favorite balls
Color: Multicolor, Size: 6 PACK
I never thought that my black lab mix could enjoy a ball more than the slightly larger silicon (sp) ones we have used for years. The sound has her ears up from the moment I pick one up. Please not, these are not indestructible. Throwing them away once they break open (for heavy chewers) is best.

Dog loves these
Color: Multicolor, Size: 6 PACK
Perfect balls for dogs who chew the squeaker out. These have the felt going over the plastic squeaker piece. Super bright colors and perfect size for medium and small dogs.

So far so good!
Color: Multicolor, Size: 24 PACK
So far so good! Our Belgian Malinois/Black Lab mix goes through other brands of squeaky tennis balls in a matter of days. Including the ones that cost 2.00 a piece. Thrilled to see that the first one is still intact after a couple of weeks of play. She must squeak them if they are in her mouth so they do get quite a workout. I would highly recommend them.
