The smooth, shiny, dark green leaves are prominently veined and somewhat succulent, and can measure up to 3.2 inches long and wide at maturity. These have been grown in a shade house, can be acclimated to direct sunlight, but the caudex should stay in the shade. If grown outdoors, place 'Bigfoot' under a shelter to keep it out of the rain and bring it inside when it gets too cold. Requires excellent drainage. This is a very hardy plant once established, will survive temps from 30F to 95F, and prolonged periods of drought.
