The base of each leaf stalk--approximately the bottom 5 inches--is where the flavor hides in this citrusy herb. Remove the leafy top and woody bottom, strip the tough outer layers, and you'll discover the delicious white inner stalk. Chop or mince and add it to Asian-inspired curries, stir fries, and marinades. Use the discarded lemongrass bits to infuse tea, broth, or soup with citrus flavor. The flavor intensifies the longer you cook lemongrass. Use it fresh, or preserve it by drying or freezing. Lemongrass looks gorgeous growing in containers, raised beds, or in-ground gardens. These pillows are decent but not amazing. I like that they’re adjustable and come with extra fill, so you can make them softer or firmer depending on how you sleep. The cooling side feels nice at first, but it doesn’t stay super cool all night. They’re comfortable enough, but not a huge upgrade from regular pillows. Good, just not life-changing.
