Discover the majesty of the Brugmansia tree form, a true living sculpture for your garden or patio. Often called "Angel's Trumpet," this spectacular plant will enchant you with its immense, fragrant blooms, hanging like exotic jewels. Easy to integrate as a focal point, it transforms any space into a tropical oasis, promising a continuous and intoxicating floral display.

Characteristics

  • Foliage: Large, ovate, soft-to-the-touch leaves, medium to dark green. Foliage is deciduous if overwintered cool or evergreen in tropical climates.
  • Flowering: Produces immense, pendulous, trumpet-shaped flowers, up to 30 cm (12 inches) long. Colours vary (white, yellow, orange, pink, red) and are intensely fragrant, especially in the evening. Flowering is continuous from spring until first frost, often in flushes.
  • Light Requirements: Needs full sun (6+ hours per day) for the most abundant flowering. Can tolerate partial shade in very hot climates, but flowering will be less dense.
  • Habit: This Brugmansia is grown on a single, straight stem to form a tree-like plant, with a bushy, trailing crown at the top.
  • Growth: Its growth is fast. Mature size depends on the standard's height and crown size, but can reach 1.5 to 2.5 meters (5 to 8 feet) tall (including pot).
  • Humidity: Requires consistently moist soil, especially during active growth and intense flowering, as well as in hot weather. Avoid waterlogging.
  • Soil: Prefers rich, fertile, and well-drained soil. For container growing, use a light, high-quality potting mix.
  • Temperature: Tropical plant, does not tolerate frost. Ideal temperatures are between 18 °C and 30 °C (65 °F and 85 °F).
  • Watering: Very abundant, especially for potted plants. Water daily or even twice a day in peak summer heat. Allow the substrate to dry very slightly between waterings to prevent root suffocation.

Usage

  • Types of Use: Ideal as a specimen plant or focal point in containers on patios, decks, and near entrances to enjoy its fragrance. Suitable for tropical or Mediterranean-style gardens as an annual or summer plant.
  • Decorative Benefits: Its standard form creates an elegant, vertical structure, while its giant flowers add a spectacular exotic touch and enchanting evening fragrance, transforming the atmosphere of your outdoor space.

Maintenance

  • Fertilization: Very heavy feeder. Fertilize very regularly (weekly or bi-weekly) with a phosphorus-rich fertilizer, 15-30-15, to encourage flowering. Reduce fertilization in the fall.
  • Pruning: Prune the crown to maintain the desired shape and encourage new branching, which will increase the number of flowers. Pruning can be done in spring or after bloom flushes.
  • Planting:
    • In pots: Choose a large pot with good drainage holes to accommodate the Brugmansia's fast growth. Plant at the same depth as it was in its original container.
    • Period: Plant or move your Brugmansia outdoors after all risk of frost in spring, when nighttime temperatures are consistently above 10 °C (50 °F).
    • In-ground (annual option): If you choose to grow it as an annual, space plants approximately 1.5 to 2 meters (5 to 7 feet) apart.

Fantastic upgrade from my original stand. Base is a little bulky, but stand is versatile and sturdy.
Size: Single, Style: Free-Standing, Size: Single, Style: Free-Standing
Amazing value for this stand. I needed a stand with more degrees of freedom than the original one that came with my monitor, and this stand (which was inexpensive relative to the cost of the monitor) was a great purchase. The base of the stand is a little bulky/high, and the soft material on the bottom of it can rub off very easily if you let the stand catch the back edge of your desk. Otherwise though, the stand is extremely easy to install, and it provides far more degrees of freedom for rotation and translation than the original stand for my monitor. Now my monitor is sitting at a comfortable viewing angle closer to my desk tilted slightly upwards toward me. Just keep in mind that you have to tighten down the height and tilt adjustments (the things that would be affected by gravity). So, if you want to adjust those frequently, this stand might not be a great fit for you. That said, it does provide a hidden but easy-to-access spot to store the keys needed to loosen it up to make those adjustments. So, if you need to make those adjustments, you'll always have quick access to the necessary tools. Highly recommended for its price in particular.

A Solid Monitor Stand
Size: Single, Style: Free-Standing
This is an extremely sturdy monitor stand. Easily assembled in less than 20 minutes. Instructions were simple. The hex tools came with the stand, but you just need a Nr 2 Phillips Screwdriver for the bolts mounting the VESA plate to the monitor. Take note that this stand has a heavy base to hold larger/heavier monitors up to 22 lbs, but does not take a lot of space. I chose this variant so that it could handle my heavy 24-inch Planar monitor. The included cable management clip was a nice touch. Rotation and tilt feature moves easily and has decent range. I'm very happy with my purchase and it was available for overnight shipment in my region.

WALI Dual Monitor Stand: A Solid, Space-Saving Base Camp
Size: Dual, Style: Free-Standing
WALI Dual Monitor Stand: A Solid, Space-Saving Base Camp I needed to reclaim some real estate on my crowded desk, and this WALI freestanding mount did the trick. It's a straightforward, no-frills solution that holds my two 24-inch monitors securely and opens up a ton of space underneath. Assembly is intuitive, though having a second pair of hands is helpful when you're attaching the monitors to avoid any tipping. The all-metal construction feels sturdy and reliable. The adjustments are basic but effective—you can raise or lower both monitors together on the central pole and tilt or swivel them individually to get the angles just right. The included cable management clips are a nice touch for keeping things tidy. The key thing to understand with any freestanding mount is balance. If you extend the arms all the way out toward you, the whole unit can get top-heavy and want to tip forward. I keep my monitors positioned more centered over the heavy base, and it's perfectly stable. It's not meant for dramatic, extended poses. For the price, it's fantastic value. It doesn't have the infinite, fluid adjustability of high-end gas-spring arms, but it doesn't need to. It lifts your monitors, frees up your desk, and does its job without any fuss. Bottom Line: An excellent, budget-friendly way to lift two monitors and dramatically increase your usable desk space. Just be mindful of the center of gravity and don't expect ultra-flexible, independent positioning.

Easily supports a pair of 26" displays
Size: Dual, Style: Free-Standing
I have no complaints with this stand. It is not as nice as the Inland brand sold at MicroCenter, but it does its job. It beats the price of the MicroCenter one, thats for sure. It comes with all the hardware you might need, even long screws and bushings if you have a display that needs them. Assembly was quick. It comes mostly assembled anyway. You have to put the bottom on the post then attach the assembled arms to the post. Setting up can be a challenge but with help, its easy. After mounting the bracket on the back of the displays, you just slide them into the receiver on the arms. Once mounted, adjusting the position is simple, but can take a while as there are several joints which can be positioned to angle the displays as you like. The cord clips do an OK job of cord management, but the clips are not as good as the Inland ones. They do the job, but not as durable. I broke the one that goes on the post, but I tried getting it to hold a wad of wire. My fault. I recommend this stand.
