This beautiful evergreen succulent with dark purple on its rosettes are part of the Aeonium family.  When grown in full sun the foliage turns almost black, adding drama to your garden.  If grown in partial shade, the rosettes are reddish purple with a green center. Both ways add a lovely touch of color to your succulent garden. Pots sold separartely.

Care Instructions:
Light Preference: 

Enjoys full sun and partial shade, especially during hot summer days.
Water Tolerance: Water once a week (preferably on schedule). Allow the soil to be dry between waterings.  

Do not overwater as too much moisture will lead to root rot. During the summer, Aeoniums are dormant, they may not look as great and need less water.

Soil:  Enjoys gritty succulent potting soil. Feed during the growing season (winter to spring) by adding new soil. 

Avoid fertilizing your aeonium during the summer. If you grow them in containers, repot them with fresh potting soil every 2 -3 years.
