This is such an interesting colored marigold! The center is a bright golden yellow pom-pom surrounded by a bottom layer of flat red petals. Double blooms, flowers average 2 inches across. This is the same variety I grow in my own garden. The plants get super bushy and are 3ft tall by 3ft wide. I trim the branches regularly to use in composting which also helps maintain its size. The plant will continue to bloom until its killed off by frost. French marigolds are known to repel pests and nematodes in the soil. Planting around nematode attracting vegetables, such as tomatoes, is a great choice.

PLANTING
Germination: 4-10 days
Seed Sowing Depth: 1/2” deep
Sowing: Can direct sow after the last frost, or start in pots 4-6 weeks before the last frost. In warmer climates can also direct sow at end of summer for fall flowers.
