Dieffenbachia leaves are oval in shape with sharp green edges and a dark green central vein. There are some irregular silver-white markings on both sides of the central vein of the leaf, which makes the whole leaf look very decorative. Mature plants are usually 60-90 cm tall with thicker stems.
Light : Dieffenbachia likes bright, diffused light, out of direct sunlight. Excessive light will cause the leaves to burn, while insufficient light will cause the leaves to darken and slow growth.
Temperature : It adapts to a wide range of temperatures, generally between 15-30 degrees Celsius. However, it is more sensitive to low temperatures below 10 degrees, prone to leaf drop and growth stagnation.
Humidity : Dieffenbachia does not require high humidity, but leaves may turn yellow and curl in too dry an environment. Proper humidity can be maintained by placing a humidifier around the plant or by using a water pan.
