Commonly called Mexican Snowball, this easy succulent forms silvery blue rosettes about 4" tall and 5" across, then happily produces offsets to create a low, texturiffic carpet up to 16" wide.

This tidy echeveria is beautiful in succulent containers, rock gardens, troughs, small-scale groundcovers, and dry garden edges where its cool color and rounded form can be admired up close. In summer, long-lasting 8" arched stems rise above the rosettes, carrying pink and yellow lantern-like blooms for an extra little flourish of charm.

Plant Echeveria elegans in full sun to bright shade with fertile, well-drained soil.
