The Hoya Heart, also known as Hoya kerrii, is a delightful succulent vine cherished for its heart-shaped leaves. Its charming appearance and easy care make it a popular choice for indoor gardens and as a gift for loved ones.
Light Needs: Hoya Hearts thrive in bright, indirect light. They can tolerate some morning or evening sun, but avoid harsh midday sunlight, which can scorch their leaves. A north-facing window or a spot with filtered sunlight is ideal.
Water Needs: Water your Hoya Heart sparingly, allowing the top inch of soil to dry out between waterings. They are drought-tolerant plants and are more likely to thrive with too little water rather than too much. In winter, reduce watering frequency as the plant enters dormancy.
Humidity Needs: Hoya Hearts prefer average room humidity but can adapt to drier indoor environments. If your home is particularly dry, consider misting the leaves occasionally or placing a humidity tray nearby to increase moisture levels.
