Common Name: Green Ozelot Sword, Ozelot Sword
Our Green Ozelot Swords are a beautiful sword plant with mostly green leaves, speckled with red spots. Like other swords, the Ozelot Sword will benefit greatly from having a nutrient-rich substrate and/or root tabs—but please keep in mind that aquasoils will absorb the tannins in your botanical method aquariums. This plant can get quite large, propagating via runners that flower at the surface or by rosette splitting. In our blackwater, biotope & botanical method aquariums, these can be rooted directly into a sand or sedimented substrate with root tabs used to provide nutrients, should deficiencies become present.
