Bone Meal 3-15-0 for Root Strength and Early Growth

Down To Earth™ Bone Meal 3-15-0 is a phosphorus-rich, organic bone meal fertilizer designed to drive explosive root development and vigorous early season growth in demanding crops. With a 3-15-0 analysis plus 18% calcium, this granular amendment helps young plants establish quickly, making it ideal for transplants, bulbs, trees, shrubs, raised beds, and container gardens. Phosphorus supports both root and bloom development, so growers see stronger root systems, bigger blossoms, and improved overall plant health in soil or soilless media.

Organic Phosphorus and Calcium for Bulbs, Flowers, and Roots

As an all-natural phosphorus fertilizer, Bone Meal 3-15-0 helps plants take to new soil by stimulating dense, fibrous root systems that can access more water and nutrients. The added calcium helps build strong cell walls, supporting sturdier stems and improved resilience under high-performance growing conditions. Use it when planting bulbs for reliable emergence and large, showy flowers, or side-dress root crops like carrots and potatoes for increased size and quality. DTE™ Bone Meal 3-15-0 is one of those essential organic soil amendments every serious grower likes to keep on hand for transplants, bloom initiation, and long-term soil fertility.

Key benefits:

  • High-phosphorus formula (3-15-0) to accelerate root development, early growth, and flower formation.

  • 18% calcium content supports strong cell walls, sturdier stems, and overall plant resilience.

  • Excellent for bulbs, flowering plants, trees, and root crops, producing larger roots and bigger, more vibrant blooms.

  • Slow-release organic nutrient source that feeds steadily, ideal for soil, raised beds, containers, and living media.

  • Perfect for transplants and new plantings, helping crops establish quickly and handle environmental stress better.

Cute but not hinged at arms
Color: Porcini Tortoise, Size: 52-17-140
They were cute. I didn’t like that they weren’t hinged. They were harder to open and close. I didn’t look for this feature before I purchased.
