Philodendron erubescens Scarlet Princess

Where the Pink Princess produces bold hot pink sectors against deep green or near-black, the Scarlet Princess expresses its chimeric variegation in a warmer, redder palette — cream to mint-green variegated sectors overlaid on leaves that carry a rich red flushing and deep burgundy-green ground coloration characteristic of the Red Anderson mutation, giving the plant a distinctly different and warmer overall mood than PPP. New leaves emerge with the bronzed, reddish-scarlet flush typical of the erubescens lineage before the variegation sectors develop and the leaf hardens to its mature coloration.

  • Light: Bright indirect light is essential for maintaining variegation intensity and the characteristic red coloration — insufficient light causes progressive greening and loss of the scarlet flush. Avoid direct harsh sun.

  • Soil: Chunky, well-draining aroid mix of orchid bark, perlite, and coco coir; excellent drainage essential. Never allow roots to sit in waterlogged medium.

  • Temperature/Humidity: Warm temperatures between 65-80°F; humidity of 60-70% supports the best leaf quality and cleanest emergence. Avoid cold drafts and temperatures below 60°F.

  • Watering: Allow the top 1-2" of medium to dry between waterings; water thoroughly and allow to drain completely. The variegated form is more susceptible to root rot than standard green erubescens.

  • Fertilizer: Feed with a balanced liquid fertilizer every 4 weeks during active growth; consistent feeding supports the fastest growth given the reduced photosynthetic capacity of the variegated sectors. Reduce in winter.

Run little rabbit
Format: Kindle
Though a familiar trope, it had these teases of intrigue that are enough to keep the story interesting to pull the reader to keep reading, to invest in the plot. Enemies (bullies)-to- lovers, mafia, and RH tropes are all so overworked that there is very little new in the way of a storyline. While I can't say this story is utterly unique, I found myself enjoying the characters and their dynamics together. I look forward to seeing how things go from here between the guys and Emmy, and even how Paloma will fair.

awesome

I’ve never read a book by this author before, but she knocked it out of the park! Thanks so much for thinking of us readers who are left with book hangovers and just need the next book in the series. I just downloaded the next one. I don’t normally write reviews but this author needs to be out there so everyone can find her. Great book, excellent characters and pacing. Wonderful storyline.

pleasantly surprised!
Format: Kindle
So, I’ve been on the Find Me (WITSEC) book train and trying to find a book to hold me over until the second book comes out and omg now I’m going to have to do the same for THIS book! I was drawn in from the beginning. The characters, the multi POV (which is one thing WITSEC lacks), the world building! Excellent! I love a good grovel and I think these guys are headed that way now! I can’t wait to see where the next book takes these characters! Now….what do I do while I wait?

Tip Top Read
Format: Kindle
Marvelous debut by first time author to me. The story sounds similar to many others, but is written extremely well with enough bite to give it a fresh feel. Told from different POVS, our heroine survives a traumatic event, moves to a more secure location with her mum, and begins to live. She is daring, brave and most of all, true to herself. But then......you have to get the book to find out what happens next!!!!!!

So I really enjoyed the story. It’s unbelievable in some of the torture revelations on things that did happen and things that didn’t happen. The character development was decent. Having a little more background on the MMCs would have been nice but for what it was it’s fine. I just didn’t connect with them as much as I wanted to. Lots of typos and misplaced words in the kindle version. I’ll probably read the next one. I was glad the cliff hanger was not so startling that I felt I had to dive into the next book immediately. I could stop here and be fine with not knowing what happens next. Just assuming she got away.
