Morning Glory - Glacier Star (Heirloom) - Ipomoea tricolor

Annual - Free-flowering Glacier Star is a reselected, antique cultivar whose dazzling blossoms are translucent baby blue overlaid with dark cerulean blue starred throats. This enchanting blue bicolor opens new flared 4" trumpet flowers each morning starting from mid-summer. Glacier Star's strong and sturdy vines of heart-shaped leaves twine effortlessly to cloak a gate, fence or trellis where they unfurl their skirts of beautiful blooms, creating a tranquil and old-fashioned ambiance.

Soil & Water: Plant in moderately fertile soil that drains well. Erect well-anchored supports at least 8 feet tall in a wind sheltered area; strong netting or a sturdy trellis serve well to hold these vigorous climbers. Morning glories will bloom hard in mid-summer once days begin to shorten.

Planting & Growing: To Start Indoors:In late spring, once weather is warm and settled and nights stay above 50°F, plant seeds in a sunny spot in ordinary garden soil 2 - 3" apart and 1/2" deep. Firm soil over seeds and keep evenly moist but not soggy while awaiting germination. To Start Early Indoors: Sow indoors 4 - 5 weeks before last expected frost in individual pots of seed starting mix. Cover 1/2" deep and keep warm and moist. Provide a strong light source until seedlings are ready to plant outdoors. Transplant very carefully once night stay above 50°F and before seedlings get too crowded. Thin or Transplant: Space seedlings 6 - 8" apart; carefully avoid disturbing roots if transplanting.

 Soil Temperature: above 50°F
Planting Depth: 1/2"
Germination: 7-10 Days
Height At Maturity: 8-10 feet
Sun/Shade: Full Sun
Spacing After Thinning: 6-8"
Approx Seeds per Pack: 65-70 Seeds

An effective organizing solution for missions involving movable equipment
Size: Medium 16in x 1in
Following the compromised operation in Prague, I was tasked with organizing equipment for the embassy annex in Vienna. The VELCRO Brand Magnetic Straps provided an essential solution for securing various tools and equipment to metal surfaces, facilitating quick access during critical moments. The durability of the strap, combined with an impressively strong magnet, ensured that our gear remained in place despite variable operational conditions. However, the loop formed by the strap could be larger; it limited our options for certain garden hoses, which became a notable drawback. Overall, the robust quality of the straps enhances logistical efficiency in high-pressure scenarios. Katarina's earlier input on this product proved beneficial, although I detected apprehension in her demeanor while discussing its application. Recommendation: An effective organizing solution for missions involving movable equipment, with minor adjustments needed for cord size.

Sturdy and Reliable
Size: Medium 16in x 1in
Very sturdy and holds up well with regular use. It feels solid and well-made, not flimsy or like it’s going to wear out quickly. Definitely something you can rely on without worrying about it falling apart.

Buy This!
Size: Medium 16in x 1in
Super heavy duty! Not only does the magnet hold a ton, the strap is totally adjustable to hold wide items. Currently it's holding an 8 ish lb rope on the side of my garage fridge with zero issue! Easy to use and works great!

"Keep On Holding On" assist.
Size: Medium 16in x 1in
Magnet is powerful indeed . The velcro strap is quite long and I have not figured out how to shorten it without cutting it. Great for hoses, ropes, and pull alongs. Temporary use as hold down in a truck bed for lite items.
