The Prayer Plant Silver Band is another one of those striking accent pieces from the notoriously beautiful Maranta family. Admired for its striking silver veins that dance across lush, silvery-green leaves, adding that enchanting touch to any space.
Caring for this Prayer Plant is as simple as all its counter parts, making it perfect for both experienced plant enthusiasts and beginners alike. Be sure to place it in bright, indirect light to maintain its vibrant foliage, while avoiding direct sunlight, which can scorch its delicate leaves.
Keep its soil consistently and evenly moist, but never soggy, ensuring proper drainage to prevent root rot. Also, try to avoid letting it dry out, or you’ll end up with a crispy plant. To let it thrive, choose a position with naturally high humidity, such as a brightly lit bathroom or kitchen; however, a pebble tray or placing it with other plants to provide the humidity it craves will replicate its natural tropical habitat.
With its unique foliage and easy-going nature, the Prayer Plant Silver Band effortlessly elevates any interior. The combination of its stunning appearance with a modern planter creates an aesthetically pleasing display that would be perfect for a bookshelf, desk, or cosy nook.
Please note: Marantha are pet and human safe, but to look their best prefer to be out of reach of curious critters.
