VPS pH Down + Line Cleaner provides dual-action cleaning and maintenance for irrigation systems by effectively dissolving salt buildup and biofilm deposits. Specially crafted to protect critical irrigation components such as seals, emitters, and membranes, it significantly boosts water flow and system longevity. Suitable for agricultural, commercial, and greenhouse irrigation systems. Available in convenient 1-gallon, economical 5-gallon, and bulk 55-gallon drums.
Application Guidance:
- Use only between growing cycles; avoid applying when plants are actively growing.
- Inject into irrigation lines, targeting a final pH range of 2.0-3.0 at outlets (drip emitters or hose bibs).
- In batching systems, pre-mix solution to achieve the same target pH.
- Operate the irrigation system until targeted pH is reached, then run an additional 10-15 minutes.
- Immediately clean or replace system filters after application.
- Thoroughly flush system afterward until clear, neutral pH water runs through all components (approximately 1-3 minutes per zone).
For optimal results, follow up treatment with an oxidizer product.
