The Liberte Medium is the most popular pot Chive makes. It has been for most of the years it has existed. The studio is not entirely sure how this happened, but the working theory involves correct proportions, a useful size, and a glaze called Skull that nobody asked for and everyone immediately wanted. The Skull color was not in the plan. We made it anyway.

The Andy Warhol Museum stocks the Liberte. The High Museum of Art in Atlanta carries it. These are institutions that take ceramics seriously. They chose the cylinder. We find this gratifying and entirely appropriate.
