Zhuben Rose Rubiginosa Cleansing Balm 100ml

This balm is designed for a luxurious, multi-sensory transformation.

  • Initial Texture: A firm, smooth balm due to Synthetic Wax and Beeswax. It melts instantly upon contact with warm skin.
  • Application Feel: Transforms into a silky, slip-rich oil as it melts. This is achieved by the blend of light esters (C12-15 Alkyl Benzoate, Cetyl Ethylhexanoate) and luxurious plant oils (Sunflower, Hazel Seed).
  • Massage Experience: Provides a slip that allows for gentle, friction-free massage without dragging the skin, thanks to the combination of C13-15 Alkane (a light hydrocarbon oil) and Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride.

Its core function is to effectively dissolve and lift impurities without stripping the skin.

  • High-Efficacy Dissolution: The blend of oils and esters is excellent at breaking down and dissolving long-wear makeup, sunscreen, sebum, and water-resistant products.
  • Emulsification & Rinseability: Key ingredients like PEG-7 Glyceryl Cocoate and Sorbitan Polyoxyethylene (30) Tetraoleate are emulsifiers. When water is added, they allow the oil to turn into a milky emulsion that rinses cleanly with water, leaving no heavy residue.
  • Solvent Action: C13-16 Isoparaffin is a gentle solvent that helps break down waxy makeup substances.

This formula goes beyond basic cleansing to deliver active skincare benefits, primarily focused on nourishment, barrier support, and soothing.

  • Barrier Repair & Nourishment: A star-studded cast of nourishing oils:
  • Ceramide NP: Directly replenishes the skin's natural barrier lipids.
  • Rosa Rubiginosa (Rosehip) Seed Oil & Hippophae Rhamnoides (Sea Buckthorn) Fruit Oil: Rich in omegas and vitamins for regeneration and nourishment.
  • Squalane & Jojoba Seed Oil: Mimic skin's own sebum, providing non-comedogenic hydration and balance.
  • Shea Butter: Offers occlusive nourishment.
  • Soothing & Calming: Centella Asiatica Extract, Bisabolol, and Avena Sativa (Oat) Kernel Oil work to soothe sensitivity, reduce redness, and calm the skin during cleansing.
  • Antioxidant Protection: Pentaerythrityl Tetrakis(Di-t-butylhydroxyhydrocinnamate) is a potent antioxidant to neutralize free radicals, while Hydroxyacetophenone is a gentle stabilizing antioxidant.
  • Sensory & Aromatherapy: The blend of Rosewood, Lavender, Nutmeg, and Pelargonium (Geranium) Oils provides a luxurious, spa-like aromatic experience aimed at relaxation. (Note: Fragrance/Perfume is also listed, which may be a blend containing these.)

Post-Rinse Feel

  • The finish is designed to be "clean but cared-for," balancing thorough cleansing with skin comfort.
  • Primary Finish: Clean, Soft, and Hydrated. Due to the effective emulsifiers and light oils, it rinses away without a greasy film. Humectants like Butylene Glycol and 1,2-Pentanediol help attract moisture to the skin post-cleanse.
  • Non-Stripping: Leaves the skin's natural barrier feeling intact and supple, not "squeaky clean" or tight, because it's enriched with barrier-supporting oils rather than harsh surfactants.
  • Subtle Nourishment: A veil of lightweight hydration and lipids (from Squalane, Ceramides) remains on the skin, preparing it for the next skincare steps. The Dimethylsilanol Siliconate may impart a very subtle, soft smoothness.

This Zhuben Rose Rubiginosa Cleansing Balm is a high-performance yet treatment-oriented first cleanser. It transforms from a solid balm to a silky oil for a pleasurable massage that effectively melts away makeup. Its standout feature is the infusion of barrier-supporting ceramides, nourishing botanical oils, and soothing extracts, ensuring the cleansing process not only removes impurities but also pampers and protects the skin. The finish is clean, comfortable, and prepped for subsequent skincare.

Slightly repetitive but I did love some things
Format: Kindle
I love this type of story. And omegaverse is one of my all time favorite genres. But there are a few things that pulled me out of my enjoyment while I was reading. It was repetitive at times as well as struggled with telling not showing. So we didn’t always feel like we were experiencing things with the main character. There were also some plot holes but they may still be answered in part 2. Now this isn’t to be said I didn’t enjoy parts of the story. I loved the almost instant love between Mila and Oliver. And how he started changing around her.

delightful read
Format: Kindle
What a delightful read. The characters are awesome, the plot was so good, I loved it. I was intrigued and it kept me wanting more. Told in multiple pov, the book sucks you in and doesn’t let go. I cannot wait to read the next book.

not bad
Format: Kindle
I loved the plot of this book. The characters just didn’t have a lot of depth. The connections and “love” just weren’t communicated very well in the writing. The author didn’t write the sweet psycho trope very well at all either. Lachlan was just a mess of a character.

A Beta Worth Rooting For
Format: Kindle
In Spare, Violet Fox flips the omegaverse on its head, giving us a Beta heroine determined to make her mark. Joining the Beta Trials to support her sick father, she's thrown into a pack that doesn't want her, especially the possessive Alphas. But here's the twist: their sweet Omega turns out to be her scent match. Cue the angst, forbidden tension, and a slow-burn romance that will make your heart ache in the best way. Violet Fox delivers an emotional, refreshing take on the genre, proving Betas aren't "spares." They're stars.

Beta, Alpha, Omega oh my!
Format: Kindle
Omegas are precious and given to Alphas & their packs... but the Betas want in too. To this end, the Beta government is rolling out its trial of assigning a Beta to each Alpha-Omega pack. But forcing a Beta into a pack where they are not wanted will not end well... Of course, no one expected the Omega to fall for the assigned Beta. Great read and cliffhanger
