It's  leaves are heart shaped grow up to 3 feet in length. This taro grows about 2' to 3' tall and performs best when planted in partial shade, although it will tolerate full sun.

It is a perfect accent plant for the edge of the pond. In cold regions, over winter as a houseplant or lift tubers and store in a frost free area.

The strength of women and their strength of character

I was inspired by Sage’s strength to defend Willa from the jabs of an aggressive friend, Ava. It was wonderful watching Ava grow even though she was a secondary character. That Sage remembered Rebecca’s plight and commit herself to a legacy of providing soccer camps for girls and trans players was incredible. A truly inspiring story. I heartily recommend this book and any others by this author. I love the way she writes and how she allows us to tag along with the journeys of her well developed characters and plot. It has a heavy focus on the Appalachian region, and taught me the deep purpose of cadence and the beauty of the simplicity found in that. Some of the poems are dark, some not so much.
