This beauty has leaves of deep purple blackish hue and green veins topside and whitish underside a top long 2 - 3 foot stems. Highly desired due to appearance, size and being a very easy to grow type.
Black Beauty is a compact grower that reaches up to around 2 to 3 feet tall not the 6 - 10 foot type. Great for ponds or marshy bogs and prefers bright filtered light, sun with some shade. Indoors potted in 3 gal or larger does well, placed in well lighted area. Grow in lose peat bark well draining medium and water twice a week.
You will receive a single plant similar to one of the plants in photos.
Listing is for single rooted large size plant around 2 feet height. Plant you will receive will be similar to plants in last three pics and will be trimmed for shipping if needed. Plant may be sent in wrapped root ball and largest top leaves will be cut for shipping purposes so plant height when sent will be between 15 - 20" and ready to pot or place in ground.
Black Beauty is similar to other listing of so called Black leafed Colocasia. There is a lot of mixing of names, but each plant is a little different that generally can be identified by looking at leaf color topside, under side and stem color.

Great for my hot rod!

Perfect oil for my hot rod! Add a bottle of zinc and you get great low temp flow as well as good heat protection. As a 0W it flows quickly for good start up protection and the 40W means I get good protection as temps rise. My car has a flat tappet hydraulic cam so I add a bottle of zinc. Has worked great!

Yes, I know what the label says. “European Car Formula.”
Yes, I put it in a 2002 Subaru WRX bugeye with an EJ257 block and EJ205 heads.
And yes—this oil absolutely slaps.
This engine is not stock, not delicate, and definitely not living an easy life. It sees spirited driving, boost, and the occasional questionable decision. After switching to Mobil 1 0W-40, cold starts are smoother, oil pressure is rock solid, and the motor just feels happier. No weird noises, no drama, no oil consumption surprises.
The viscosity is perfect for a performance Subaru build, especially if you’re running tighter tolerances or want strong protection under heat and load. It’s thick enough when hot, flows great when cold, and inspires confidence every time I turn the key.
Is it technically “European”? Sure.
Does my Subaru care? Not even a little.
If you’re running a built engine, turbo setup, or just want a proven, high-quality oil that punches above its weight, this stuff earns its reputation. My bugeye may not be European, but it’s living its best life on this oil.
Would absolutely buy again—passport not required.
