Unlike most Tillandsia species, the pink quill can be grown in a pot as well as an air plant. Because the roots don't take in water, they gather moisture and nutrients through their leaves. These moisture loving plants love a good misting or humidifier. 

Care and Maintenance

These plants take up water and nutrients through their leaves, so the soil can stay a bit dry as long as the leaves stay hydrated. They prefer bright-indirect away from any direct sun.
