We love this plant for its easy care nature and unusual almost alien-like appearance providing interesting structure and shape. It works well as a potted plant or as a hanging plant. Crassula Lycopodioides is a succulent also known as the shoelace plant, watch chain or alien worm. These plants are perfectly adapted to dry habitats. The leaves are fleshy and store water.

In its native environment in South Africa, it lives in arid and dry landscapes. It propagates by breaking up easily in the wild when the wind or animals brush past and break small pieces, down to a single leaf away from the mother plant. The small cuttings easily propagate again in the soil spreading the plant far and wide. The main threat to the species is urban development.

In its native habitat, it can be found growing in rocks in wide-open spaces and on cliff edges and does best in bright indirect light.

Crassula Lycopodioides make a great houseplant gift for friends or family - surprise them with rainforest style! If you are giving Crassula Lycopodioides as a gift, make sure you include your message at the basket stage.  We’ll deliver the houseplant along with a free, handwritten card - and we’ll leave out the paperwork with the price on!

Crassula Lycopodioides propagate by breaking easily, we will ship and wrap as carefully as we can but it's inevitable that some parts of the plant will break away from the mother plant. These can be easily propagated and it's natural and normal the plant soon grows larger once settled. Please only buy if you understand its normal (and think it's fun propagating plants!).

Terrifying jaw strength..
Color: Green, Size: Medium(30-55 lbs)
Have 2 Corgi and it scares me that they make this thing squeak. The bite pressure they have now from working out jaw to squeak this like it's nothing. Didn't expect our smaller corgi to be able to squeak this couldn't at first now she just goes ham on it like it's no big deal.

Great for a chewer
Color: Dogwood (Brown), Size: Large (Pack of 1)
My dog loves a hard toy and a durable one. My dog has been chewing on this for months and it is still holding strong. Because it is a hard toy when my dog brings this into another room with a hard floor and drops the toy it can be startling. My dog will choose this toy over others on a daily basis and brings the toy to other rooms.

Large is a little big for Bostons
Color: Dogwood (Brown), Size: Large (Pack of 1)
Seems to be durable for 2 VERY agressive chewer Boston Terriers. Cricket and Alice are shockingly good at chewing - grateful they pick to do so with thier toys. Trial vs other name brand competitor. PetStages' is a little larger so harder to bite on fir small dogs, but seems to be equally durable. While PetStages proudly states it has real wood fiber and scent (whoch I thought would win)... they prefered the other. Both dogs love to chew on real sticks. But, when the bossy one indicated she was taking over the stick the other dog had, they exchanged, and kept chewing, over and over, back and forth. I mean to say, whatever the prefered stick was at first didnt seem to matter later. These super hard chew toys do make me nervous. One dog broke a tooth last summer on a different brand toy, a very expensive extraction bill, and poor pup's terrible discomfort... but the other did not and has amazing white teeth, all around.... so.
