Syngonium ‘Pink Splash’ — The Collectors’ Choice in Modern Tropical Foliage

Syngonium ‘Pink Splash’ is a coveted tropical aroid prized for its exquisite pink variegation and elegant, arrowhead-shaped leaves. Each specimen is one-of-a-kind—painted in unpredictable strokes of rose, blush, and emerald green that evolve as the plant matures. Compact, fast-growing, and undeniably photogenic, this variety has become a must-have centerpiece among serious collectors and design-minded plant lovers alike.

Native to the humid rainforests of Central and South America, the Pink Splash adapts beautifully to indoor life. It thrives in bright, indirect light and appreciates consistent moisture and moderate humidity. Whether trailing gracefully from a shelf or climbing with gentle support, its painterly foliage adds an artful dimension to any plant display.

Note: Each plant displays its own distinct variegation pattern—no two are ever alike.

Plant Profile

  • Botanical Name: Syngonium podophyllum ‘Pink Splash’
  • Common Names: Pink Splash Syngonium, Arrowhead Plant, Nephthytis
  • Family: Araceae
  • Native Range: Central & South America

Care Essentials

  • Light: Bright, filtered light enhances variegation; can tolerate lower light with reduced pink tones.
  • Water: Keep soil lightly moist, allowing the top inch to dry between waterings. Avoid letting roots sit in excess water.
  • Humidity: Enjoys moderate to high humidity; mist occasionally or group with other tropicals for a microclimate boost.
  • Temperature: Maintain between 65–85°F; protect from cold drafts or direct AC airflow.
  • Feeding: Apply a balanced liquid fertilizer monthly during active growth (spring and summer).
  • Growth Habit: Upright juvenile growth that becomes softly trailing or climbing with age—ideal for trellises or hanging planters.
  • Propagation: Simple to root via stem cuttings in water or airy soil mix.
  • Pests: Occasionally attracts spider mites or aphids in dry conditions; maintain humidity and inspect new growth regularly.
  • Toxicity: Toxic if ingested; keep out of reach of pets and small children.

Why Collectors Love It

Among variegated Syngoniums, the ‘Pink Splash’ stands apart for its balanced mix of rarity, vigor, and saturated color. Unlike artificially enhanced varieties, its pink patterning is entirely natural—an organic expression of its genetics and growing conditions. As it matures, new leaves often emerge deeper in hue before fading into a soft blush, giving each plant an evolving personality over time.

Pair it with a neutral ceramic planter or moss pole to highlight its climbing habit and show off those statement leaves.

Bring home the Syngonium ‘Pink Splash’—a living work of art for collectors who appreciate the beauty of natural imperfection. 🌿

Sturdy
Flavor Name: Variety Packs, Size: 3 Pack, Set name: Large, Flavor Name: Variety Packs, Size: 3 Pack, Set name: Large
Ok so I'm very happy that my standard poodle seemed to really enjoy this product. She was lacking and biting it for hours and days. That said she has still yet to make a dent in the bone. It seems to be too hard and too thick for her. I was surprised how heavy it was! It is large enough it is completely safe to leave her in the other room with. No strange odor or transfer of color. I'd say for the cost it isn't worth it as she is only getting filling and not able to eat the bone for some reason. Then again she is entertained for hours..so maybe so. Doesn't seem to bother her sensitive tummies either.

Yuummmy but priceyyyy
Flavor Name: Variety Packs, Size: 1.26 Pound (Pack of 1), Set name: Small
I personally didn't eat them but I gave my dog one. After one my dog found out where I stashed them, ripped the package open and grabbed the rest from the bag. He then hid them around the house and individually opened them and ate them. I know this because I kept finding plastic wrap everywhere and then empty bones. So I'm going to guess they were delicious. Also a bonus to have extra bones for them to chew on and you to step on! I will say, I didnt like how they were all individually plastic wrapped, made it difficult for me to open them.

Great dog toy!
Color: Green
This is my third or fourth purchase of the same toy. My 45 lb super chewer dog loves to chew on this and especially likes to play tug of war. He is very rough on toys and most do not last longer than a few weeks. This toy lasts about 2 years - which is amazing considering my dog plays with it every day. Eventually it breaks in half during a tug of war session, but I don’t consider that a flaw or a problem because we definitely get our money’s worth of playtime! I’m happy to buy a new one every couple of years and I will keep buying it as long as it is available.

Still going strong after three months of Doberman teeth!
Color: Green
This was one of the first toys I purchased for my adopted 4 year old Doberman Pinscher. It has been chewed, and chewed, and chewed some more. This is one of his 3 favorite toys when he has to go in his crate. As of yet there are no significant teeth marks, holes, or missing pieces. It is solid rubber, light weight compared to a similar toy he has, and just the right size to carry around in his mouth. He seems to enjoy the sensation the little rubber nubs have on his gums when he chews it. We have also used this toy to play tug of war and fetch for the same reasons listed but also because the neon green color is easy to see especially if the dog gets distracted and leaves it in the yard. When playing fetch the weight of the toy does not lead to rotator cuff surgery with repetitive throwing on the part of the dog's human! When it gets too dirty and slimy for my tolerance, it is easily washed in the laundry room sink with dish detergent and a sponge always returning to its Spic n' Span original appearance. If and when he chews this one up, I will not hesitate to replace it. Top 3 Likes: -Sturdy, holds up to chewing, used as a crate toy as it poses no threat from dislodged pieces -Bright color aids in finding it outside -Comparatively lightweight, easy to throw, and easy to clean Top 3 Disikes: -Potentially an aggressive chewer could dismantle Only 1 dislike!
