Golden Sphagnum Moss, Sphagnum sp., is a beautiful and unusual sun-loving form of Sphagnum. Color can vary from yellow to brown, depending upon growing conditions. It grows in the same conditions as the typical form, tolerating less acidity and more light. It tends to form tight, carpet-like mounds or hummocks. The short stems have sweeping, outward-curving branches that resemble small tresses. The intensity of color seems to favor bright, cooler conditions. The richest golden displays are in Winter. Turns to yellow-green in the shade.

Like other Sphagnum Mosses, Golden Sphagnum Moss is a primitive bryophyte like ferns and clubmosses. Unlike more common forms of lawn or woodland moss, Sphagnum Moss is larger, and requires very damp growing conditions. It prefers the open, heathy areas of the bog, often in areas with limestone bedrock. It is a shorter, slower growing Sphagnum, and does well with all but the smaller CPs. It spreads nicely, and can be divided into smaller plugs to plant a larger area. Though Sphagnum Moss has no roots, it benefits from planting in a loose CP soil mix. It is winter hardy. Keep very moist and water with rain/distilled water.

This is living Golden Sphagnum Moss for sale. A portion is 1 measuring cup full, enough to cover a 4" pot.

Good value
Color: Black
Surprisingly good watch at this price. Compatible with common 20mm NATO straps. Have worn mine extensively despite owning more expensive field watches. Got the black model and switched to a Bond NATO strap. Good legibility, light but not cheap feeling. Lots of great affordable field watches out there from Timex, Militado, Addiesdive, etc, but at the sub $20 price I think this is one of the best values.

Semi-tough and inexpensive
Color: Blue
I purchased this watch because I needed one that I could put into harms way without hesitation; I also needed it to survive. Inexpensive and semi-tough. A tall order. So far so good! Bonus points for appearance. Color coordination and it looks pretty good, lightweight and adjustable for the cost of three gallons of gasoline!

Getting more for the price point!
Color: Green
The MDC 12/24 Hour Military Wrist Watch, with Date and Day ostensibly is an homage to the old military issue watches of the WWII era. At this price point my expectations for look, style, performance, durability were not very high. I was pleasantly surprised! The watch comes in a small black slender box within a sleeve, protected by felt cushion cut out in the shape of the watch. Immediately, what I term a "utilitarian elegance" jumped out at me. Very handsome and durable look that hints of delicate handling but is hefty and rugged. It is a minimalist watch with simple but lasting durability and precision. I've worn the watch for over a week, and though this is not a great deal of time nor is this a comprehensive review, I've so far come away with the impression that with the MDC you are getting more than you paid for. Keeps great time and if you should ding it or scratch it, you wont feel guilty considering the price point. In fact, I am so impressed with this time piece that I bought a total of three (one in each color offered).

Comfortable - rugged look.
Color: Black-Green
Comfortable - rugged look. Battery lasted 2 years and 2 months. Did buy again as it was less expensive to buy the watch again than replace battery for me. Actually was $3 less on the 2nd purchase.
